Mastering is the final stage in the recording process, serving as the last opportunity to make any adjustments before duplication and distribution. It applies the final sonic polish, enhancing the mix to its fullest potential without compromising the original quality. Mastering makes tracks sound more prominent, brighter, and louder and ensures consistency across formats, creating a cohesive piece of work. By uniting all songs, managing elements like pauses and fade-outs, and maintaining sound quality, mastering brings out the best in every track and guarantees a professional final product.
